JD _ Product Development Engineer

Directly reports: PD Manager
Main Accountabilities:

• To design new products according to FG guideline and customer
• requirements, including material no., drawings, BoM’s download/creation, and relevant U8 data maintenance.
• To be responsible for managing design instructions, procedures and drawings control related to R&D.
• To lead the new product launch process, involved in new product sampling and validation of parts and components.
• Technical review and specification/standards clarification.
• To be responsible for product validation and ISIR approval.
• To support operation team to analyze root cause out of testing, customer/supplier complaints and get it solved.
• To notify and release change requests.
• To support team to conduct study feasibility and product improvement.
• Others assigned tasks by superior.

JD _ Product Development Engineer

Professional Competence:

• Education / Work Experience – Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering or equivalent. At least 3 years work experience in mechanical design, engineering experience in filtration industry is preferred
• Technical Background – Fundamental understanding of industrial filtration applications. Familiar with mechanical manufacturing process, such as die-casting, injection molding , pressure vessel design, etc.. Strong hydraulic background. Welding technology will be a plus,
• Computer Skills – 3 years experience in Solidworks or equivalent 3D software, must be skilled in making 3D model, drawing, assembly. PDM user experience is prefered.
• Knowledge of the qualities of metals and other materials.

JD _ Product Development Engineer (Automatic Filters)

Directly reports: PD Manager
Main Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the R&D scope of automatic filters product line, contributing to the design process by suggesting alternative designs or material characteristics to meet market and/or customer requirements.
• Complete all necessary documentation under FG engineering criteria (i.e. CAD assembly/component drawings, wiring schematics, spare parts list, bill of materials, etc.). Support the generation of installation, operation and service manuals.
• Lead testing procedures and approve first sample reports.
• Support of purchasing dept. and technical steering of suppliers.
• Weekly liaise with German automatic designing team to understand products working principles, detailed automation mechanisms or any new update.
• To lead/support when it comes to a new automatic filter localization project, involved in local assembly procedures and develop a complete product testing and validation plan.
• Work closely with Quality, Process Engineer and Production to take component design changes from initial concept through prototype development and into full production.
• Customer support and troubleshooting

• Education / Work Experience – Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. At least 3 years work experience in mechanical design, engineering experience in filtration industry is preferred
• Technical Background – Fundamental understanding of industrial filtration applications. Strong Electrical and PLC background, Knowledgeable of automation design standards and practices. Knowledge in vessel design, welding and/or casting technology.
• Computer Skills – 3 years experience in Solidworks or equivalent 3D software, must be skilled in making 3D model, BOM, drawing, assembly. PDM user experience is preferred.
